Cannibalism

Humans are the only species that does nothing for the other species.  Just have a look at other species on this plant the most impressive thing that you see is the fact that they all live for others. No species besides humans tends to destroy the environment around. Very recently I got to know whats the major difference between Venus and earth, the intensity of carbon that exists in the atmosphere determines that temperature on the plant. The carbon on earth went underground and became fossil and we are trying to replicate Venus and release as much as we can to ensure that the surface temperature of the planet becomes close to 833 instead of pleasant one. Just 10 years ago summers weren't this hot and winters weren't this chilly

Before we reach the tipping point of no return we must understand how important is the change needed to bring back mother earth to its glory.

From today let's vow to use 1 tissue paper less, less of the car, less of air-conditioning, less of things that we don’t need.

Let's try and change ourselves and the world around us will change too.

$1000 = Happiness?

What happens when everyone wants to change their jobs (i.e their life because we spend 80% of time there).. What really fuels this phenomenon?

Happiness is one of the major factors that people want from their lives. Its not always about money or bosses or company culture as such. I know of people who are working not because they are happy but because they think their families will be secured with their monthly gratitude and they derive happiness out of that. A crappy boss to deal with along with amazing traffic leads everyone to a tipping point but somehow we balance ourselves and hold on so desperately to our jobs. Short term recession will kick out our long term plans is the mental projection that creates a fog on a clear road ahead.

The more and more people I meet with I have realized that everyone has priorities and basis their priority is linked their happiness quotient. In summer rain is the best thing that can happen to the scorching heat but soon priorities will change for that as well cause of traffic infested roads.
I just hope we all realize that when we are long gone what we do for others to smile and tends to be remembered more than what we do for ourselves. The only way we can make others happy is first being happy ourselves.

Unzipping Tuesday

When Google unzipped

It amazes me as to how a small thing like a zip created a revolution in clothing industry. One thing that crossed my mind today was if we could zip all the traffic on the roads of the city. Today it took me flat 15min to reach my office from station(normally takes 40 min). It was because the canvas was empty to draw the picture perfect. I hope that we start using more of public transport that runs on renewable energy. Using solar energies is something that needs to go beyond calculators and watches and need to come to cars and electricity production. We must try and innovate like Google does and make great drama stories out of nothing at all.

Manic Monday

What do you do when you are so geared up for the week ahead.

Today morning when I boarded the train I felt I was already late to work by 5 hours. Everything was buzzing around me, the city was flying at a pace that this is the moment when everything is reaching the tipping point but as the day progressed and so did the journey people came back to normalcy. Females started talking about their daily routine and men started to doze off. I was fortunate to meet a student who was reading organic chemistry. The pace of the day was supposed to be exponentially proportional to the time that was passing but it just fizzed (unlike the ads of Katrina).

Ek garam Chai ki pyali pee kar lets restart this day and hope that setting sun brings in the pace that the rising sun couldn’t

Sunday afternoon

Today marks a very special day for me.... The Earth Day

Sunday afternoon is a time that we all relax and chill where by I see a lot of us toiling really hard to go from point A to point B in a very subtle way.

Be it working towards a goal or physically striving to reach the place.

The weekend seems to be the only time that we relax and look back and probably plan the week ahead. Trying to get up early finish work in time and reach home in time to watch that special show that the entire family watches together.

A concept so American but true to every Indian household.

So what’s special about this day???
Since the mash up of trains in Mumbai for 3 days I have been contemplating of writing a blog on a daily basis because I have been meeting strangers who have been helpful to one and all. This act has led me to document whatever I can so I begin this blog session

Hope the spirit of writing lingers on!!!
